Terms and Conditions

 

1. Introduction:

Welcome to My Math. These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between My Math (referred to as "the Company," "we," or "us") and the customer (referred to as "you" or "the Customer"). By using our tutoring services, you agree to abide by these terms.

 

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling:

a. Both the Company and the Customer agree to notify the other party of any cancellations or rescheduling requests at least 24 hours before a scheduled lesson.

b. In the event of a no-show or cancellation within 24 hours of a scheduled lesson by the Customer, a fee equivalent to 50% of the lesson cost may be charged.

c. If the Company cancels within 24 hours of a scheduled lesson or if a tutor is a no-show, the Customer can request to receive a full refund for all unused services.

 

3. Punctuality:

a. Students or tutors may not be more than 5 minutes late to a scheduled lesson.

b. If either party is more than 5 minutes late, the other party has the right to cancel the lesson without penalty.

 

4. Payment:

a. Payments for provided services are non-refundable.

b. Payments should be made within the timeframe defined by the invoice unless an alternative payment plan has been agreed upon with the Company.

 

5. Tutor Assignment:

a. The Company will assign a qualified tutor based on the subject matter and availability.

b. The Customer can request a specific tutor, but availability is not guaranteed.

 

6. Late Payments:

a. Failure to make payments within the agreed-upon timeframe may result in the suspension of tutoring services until payment is received.

 

7. Code of Conduct:

a. The Customer agrees to treat tutors and Company staff with respect and professionalism.

b. Any inappropriate behavior or harassment towards tutors or Company staff may result in the termination of services.

 

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions:

a. The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Notification of changes will be provided to Customers in a timely manner.

b. Continued use of our services after changes to the Terms and Conditions indicates your acceptance of the modified terms.
